Mount Airy Casino Resort belongs to the publisher, Mount Airy #1, LLC, and that ownership is the reason it sits at number one; places two to ten are set purely by our editors.
Book a stay there and the money goes straight to the company that runs this site, so weigh our #1 with that in mind.
Funding
Some "Check availability" links may be tracked by partner or affiliate networks. If a reader books after following one, we may receive a referral commission from that network or the hotel. That income keeps the site running; it does not decide which hotels appear or in what order. There is no paid placement.
Selection criteria
- Non-gaming leisure: spa, pool, show venue, dining, waterfront or city setting.
- Location and what you can reach on foot.
- Practical access: a named airport and a workable transfer.
- Transparency: published policies on fees, ages and children.
We do not rank the gaming side of any property, and we do not describe it beyond noting that a casino is on site.
Method and sources
We read each hotel's official pages, check public reporting on recent renovations or name changes, and compare entries against the same criteria. We do not publish invented numbers such as room counts or prices. Details we were unable to verify are flagged as questions to put to the hotel.
Corrections
Spot an outdated or mistaken detail? Send the page address and the correction to contact@nextnods.com. We compare it with what the hotel publishes, amend the entry and refresh the review date at the foot of the page.
